Detailed Itinerary

After Breakfast, your guide will come and pick you up at your hotel.

Road to Hpa-an( Capital city of Kayin State ) about 288 km from Yangon 6 hrs driving and exploring the rural life of Myanmar people.

After one and half hour driving from Yangon then you will pass the ancient capital of Bago there proceed visit to Kyaik Pun 30 m high huge seating Buddha , 56 m long Reclining Buddha , 114 m high Shwemawdaw Pagoda and 15 century old Palace area. Bago is second Myanmar kingdom too.

Transfer for lunch at a local Restaurant.

After lunch heading to Hpa-an drive pass by Mountains, Rice Field, Seasonal fruits plantation, local style houses, Rubber plantation if anything interested to take picture for you depend on road busy guide will request to driver to stop for a few minute.

Arriving Hpa-an (Capital city of Kayin State) directly drive to hotel for check in and relax time.

Overnight in Hpa-an.

After breakfast at the hotel.

Visit to the Hpa -an market, before visiting to the village and in the meantime can buy some fruits or sweets for the children in the village.

Then proceed to drive the Kawkathaung village, on arrival will start walk about 25minutes to the villages name call Lakana village and Talaku Traditional village passing by field and farm which can feel different atmosphere.

In the village can learn about really country side people ways of life also they still keeping and wearing their traditional costume.
(Special request for small group: can ride back with open engine wooden frame truck if available)

After return back to the car and drive to the Kawkathaung Cave pagoda area there get off and stroll around for photos.

Drive to the traditional weaving workshop which is in the “Eindu” village.

Then heading to Saddan Cave (one of the most famous cave in Myanmar), there you will pass through the cave about 20 minutes walking and exit by boat. The cave is hollow-type cave with two entrances with many stalactites / stalagmites and a natural lake at one end of the cave, which suits itself for some great photos.

Due to its remoteness there are very few visitors here, which contributes to its charm.

Then visit to night market area there you can take the best view picture of Mt-Zwekapin(700m highest one in Kayin State) then proceed to sunset pagoda.

Enjoy with beautiful sunset with river view.

Back to your hotel and overnight in Hpa -an.

After breakfast, hotel checkout and start with Lumbini Garden, located at the base of Mt. Zwekabin. It lends itself rather well for some special pictures. There are over 1,000 Buddha Statues rows of similar-styled sitting.

Then proceed to Kyauk Kalat (or Water Lake) Monastery. The monastery sits amidst an artificial lake, and it is easy enough to climb up some stairs, with intermittently a small shrine, to get to the top. It's the ideal place for splendid sunset views of the surrounding countryside.

Then heading to 7th century famous Kawgun Cave, a very impressive open limestone cave, its main hall and rock face decorated with literally thousands and thousands of carved Buddha images on the wall.

After cave Kawgun visit trip to Mawlymine(Capital city of Mon State) British used to called The Little England. There so many old colonial building missionary school and church since British period. On the way visit to one of the famous late 18th century monastery compound there you can study combination local and colonial architects.

Before arriving Mawlymine town, first drive and explore to outskirt of Mawlymine such as 180 m long Biggest Reclining Buddha, then proceed to WW II Thanphyuzatyat war cemetery & Death Rail way Museum , which contains 3771 graves of the prisoners (mostly Australian, American and Dutch soldiers) who died building the railway. This cemetery is well maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Then drive to Mawlymine visit colonial building from outside for photos including 1927 First Baptist Church in Myanmar, then visit Kyaikthalan Pagoda for marvelous sunset.

Then hotel check in and overnight in Mawlymine.

After breakfast, hotel checkout and visit interesting vegetable market, Queen Seindon Old monastery having nice curving.

Drive to Kyaikhto (edge of the Golden rock hill) which is about 3 hours’ drive from Mawlymine.

On the way will stop at Zin Kyaik village to visit the Zin Kyaik water fall which is crowed by local people. It is panoramic and a pleasant place. (Visit period: from June to October).

On arrival to the 'base camp' of Kinpun, transfer by open truck (join-in system) up a rather bumpy track about nearly top to the mountain.

From here, walk up the path which climbs steeply to the legendary Golden Rock where you discover this exceptional pilgrimage site.

Weather permitting, admire the view from Mount Kyaiktiyo at sunset are stunning.

Walk back to your hotel and check in.

Overnight in Golden Rock.

After breakfast, walk to Truck station and return by truck down to the base camp at Kinpun, to your waiting vehicle.

Drive to 107 mile junction to visit the Kawhtin Village to see the ancient Shwe Kyaung monastery a 130-year old wooden structure and can find old oil lamps.

Overland drive back to Yangon.

If the time permit visit to Kyaiktawgyi Paya and White Elephant (close at 5 pm)

Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Yangon
